Working Principle of Tumblast Shot Blasting Machine

Tumblast Shot Blasting Machines operate on a batch-type tumbling principle where components are loaded into a rotating rubber or steel belt drum. As the drum rotates, parts tumble continuously while high-velocity abrasive shots are projected by centrifugal blast wheels.

The abrasive impact removes rust, mill scale, sand, and surface contaminants while creating a uniform anchor profile for improved coating adhesion.

The used abrasive is collected at the bottom hopper, passed through an elevator system, cleaned via an air-wash separator, and recycled back into the blast wheel. Integrated dust collection systems ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
